If the motion sensor is found to be overly-sensitive to movement, you can decrease the sensitivity. If it is not sensitive enough, there’s a fix for that, too. First, open the back of the motion sensor. Remove the batteries to expose the sensitivity knob, which is located between the two batteries. Observe the location of the knob’s current position. Use a very small screwdriver to turn the knob to the left to decrease sensitivity, or to the right to increase sensitivity. To better understand the adjustment range of sensitivity, turn the knob all the way to the left to achieve the minimum sensitivity, and all the way to the right for maximum sensitivity. With the screwdriver you can orient the knob to where you believe the sensitivity is optimal for your specific use. Finish by reinstalling batteries, snapping the lid back on, and reconnecting it into the mount.
